Overview
Slack wax is the raw feedstock of the wax industry — a crude paraffin fraction recovered during lube oil dewaxing. We trade light and heavy slack wax grades with oil contents from 5% to 30%, shipped in bulk, drums or slabs. Primary uses include paraffin wax refining, match manufacturing, particle board moisture-proofing, candles and rust-protective compounds.
